Oscars Best Picture Nominations
I don’t believe the Best Picture nominations this year. Some were definitely contenders, but others are completely missed. Three are pictures I haven’t even heard of. And where the heck is The Color Purple????
By far, I felt The Color Purple blew away all the others I have seen. That is tough competition, with Killers of the Flower Moon, Barbie and Oppenheimer. I am also surprised Napoleon didn’t get a nod at least, but I am pretty sure the movie public was not too keen on a movie about a maniacal oligarch being nominated for Best Picture.
I have several reviews in the works, so keep it tuned here to see them, but for now I am including those you can take a look at now.
