Thank you for writing this piece Marc. I spent the better part of this weekend with "Alien, " "Aliens" and writing about "Alien," "Aliens." Ripley changed everything for horror movies and movies in general. She also paved the way for today's female actors to find deep, thoughtful roles to be undertake. Prior to Ripley, actresses had to retire after 40. So much can be said about this and the character of Ripley!
