Crazy Cat Outsmarted Herself All Over the Floor
Celebrating black cat day!
It’s black cat day. Who knew? In honor of this bad-luck kitty day, I have another Shadow story for you.
You remember Shadow, my out-the-window flying escape artist black cat? If you’ve been reading my stories about her, we have established she’s a clever cat.
Recently Shadow has learned a new way of using the litter box. She didn’t like the smell, so she learned to just put the business end into the box. She’d go, just at the very edge of the box, with most of her body outside the box.
It was all well and good, until she misjudged the edge of the box, missing it altogether. None of this was intentional, it was just the result of a very smart cat not wasting any of her precious fresh air smelling her own juices.
So my intelligent, clever cat outsmarted herself all over the hardwood floor and now I have a problem.
I put some vinegar on it and some baking soda and scrubbed it. Does anyone have any better suggestions for how to get cat pee out of your hardwood floor?
