I'd say my favorite historical figure is astronaut Story Musgrave because he inspired so many to love the exploration of space and to protect the Earth. He had a passion for all he experienced while in space.

Can we judge the past with today's lens? Absolutely as we learn from history, our mistakes, and our own humanity. While history can't be unwritten, it is important to know and be educated on what has happened in the past to avoid the same mistakes in the future.
