I understand the feelings expressed here as so many people are cut out of my life as a result of this insanity. However, you didn't hear him out before jumping into the political discussion yourself. So you did what you accused him of doing before he said anything besides Can we talk? Maybe there was something else to talk about. Maybe he was trying to build a bridge, and find some sort of mutual interest? I am not saying this was what he tried to do but now you will never know. I do get the comment about denouncing white supremacy, because that would have ended any friendship and conversation permanently. Thanks for sharing.
