Great piece on the reality. We keep hoping for financial rewards, but every day I need to remind myself this isn't going to happen. I'd love to see Medium kick off the solicitors on this platform. There is a lot of dead weight to boost their numbers. Has anyone noticed August is always a good month, right before Medium day?? It seems to be a way to falsely boost their "readership," only to pull in the pennies the rest of the time. I am also thinking the boosting program is only available to those who give large tips or have an understanding with editors. What do others think???
