Bob Newhart in an interview, with his piercing blue eyes, everyman face and wearing a black jacket with yellow shirt.

Here is the premise for the series:

Is your wage cage still in your home? Are you missing the water cooler discussions? Are you actually missing the intercubical small talk and corporate complainers? Sure, it’s great not having to get dressed up, deal with traffic, and pack lunches. You can even toss in a load of laundry in between zoom meetings. But it does get lonely and makes me wistful for coworker camaraderie.

I have a solution, spend time with virtual coworkers. Make it a virtual water cooler. The beauty is your virtual team members are crazy and funny as hell. More importantly, you can turn them off when they get on your nerves!

I am selecting the best workplace comedies of all time. There are so many, I have a list of 30 workplace comedies so far. Maybe you’ll guess which comedies are on it? But don’t tell me. If I do write about one of your favorite Crazy Coworker Comedies, share your favorite comedy moments from the show

Here are the rules:

It has to be strictly a comedy.

It has to primarily take place in the workplace.

It has to be a TV series, not films

It has to be still funny after all these years.

Many comedies didn’t make my list, because they don’t take place primarily in the workplace. Or they are just not funny! See if you can come up with some coworkers who will make your cagie wagie more entertaining! Better yet, write about spending time with them!

Play along with me, guess which comedies make the cut and which ones don’t-and why! And don’t forget to tell me your favorite scenes!
